The pump is in the radiator on that particular model, and that gurgling is air passing through. If you hope to keep it for longer than a year, put it back like you had it. Upvote 0 Downvote

A steam radiator whose low-end is opposite the entering steam pipe can cause steam condensate (water) to fail to flow properly back to the heating boiler. Steam radiators, in particular one-pipe steam radiators, should slope towards the one steam pipe found entering one side of the radiator at its bottom. As coolant is added, air can get trapped, leading to a circulation backup in the motor. If there’s air trapped, you will see bubbles in the radiator. The engine could also start to overheat. It’s possible to bleed the air out of the cooling system, but it should only be done by a professional. 5. AIO Gurgling Noise, CPU at 100C? My AIO radiator is making a gurgling noise for months now. I just now am trying to figure it out because it used to go away after a few minutes but now it persists all day. I believe after researching a lot that I have air in the system but my best efforts cannot get it out. So I figure I need to replace the unit.
When you release air from the radiator, some dirty water will flow out too. Put an old cloth and bowl under the valve to catch any escaping water. Put the radiator key into the bleed valve and turn it anti-clockwise, about a quarter of a turn. You’ll hear a hiss as air starts to escape. Once the air’s out, water will start to drip.
